8 A Birthday At Labuan International Golf Club

As soon as I landed in Labuan, I was informed of a new golf club we could check out. It opened its doors in 2013. We took the scenic beach route to Jalan Sungai Pagar where the club is located.

What a beautiful place it was. The carpark was lined with gorgeous flowers and it had a beautiful sea view. We made our way to 'Golfers Terrace' after admiring the surroundings for a bit.

Oh-so-serene:

I wish they had more of these flowers planted around

It was also my aunt's Birthday so we did an impromptu celebration at 'Golfers Terrace'.

We ordered cake, asked for a candle .."No candle, ma'am."

"Haa..? " went we.

In good company anything can happen. It's like an adrenaline rush. I poked a teaspoon into the cake quite unaware of the silliness. It became our make-believe candle. It was even more hilarious when we started singing the Birthday song. Aaah..family.

It didn't cross my mind to take pictures of the golf club building. I was having way too much fun to think about that.

To conclude, I think the Labuan International Golf Club (LIGC) is a great place to chill out, even for non-golfers. I only wish that they would revamp their menu to include a larger variety of finger food and drinks.
